Founded in Nashville in 2024 by friends Ami McConnell and Sara Wigal, Ami McConnell Literary Agency was a joyful, serendipitous happening. With 40+ years of industry experience between them, and after years of successfully partnering on WriterFest, a two-day conference to inspire, empower, and connect creatives, we’re taking our passionate advocacy for writers to new levels. We pursue excellence by championing our writers every step of the way.
Within one year, the duo had already sold five books: one children’s book, two fiction and two non-fiction. We try to keep it up to date as much as we can, but sometimes life moves faster than our squarespace commitment.
We are passionate about representing writers with diverse backgrounds and experiences across a number of genres. We are interested in everything from coffee table books to contemporary fiction, young children’s to self-help.
